as of monday 31st jan , the new class times will apply

cubs mondays 5:15 till 5:45 pm, class shortened to 30 mins
kids mon/tues/thurs 6pm till 7pm , (no changes)
adults/senior belts mon /tues/thurs 7pm till 8pm
this has been done to try to encourage a better attendance at adult class, numbers have dropped, classes may have to be cancelled if attendance drops

Cards must be brought to all classes. students are asked to wait in the hallway. Andrew will collect your cards as you enter the hall. Please note fees are not monthly but work on a 4 week block from your due date. New fee prices apply upon our return. Students whos fees are not up to date in advance will be asked not to train.

TKDSL Apply to be the Sports Governing Body For Taekwondo In Scotland

Due to irreconcilable differences between BTCB and TKDSL we announce that TKDSL have formed our Scottish Organisation. TKDSL membership level is around 700, most of them have resigned from the BTCB due to the BTCB’s refusal to properly represent the membership of Scotland. We have made partnerships and “in principal agreements” with other independent WTF and ITF organisations throughout Scotland, with membership levels of around 330 & 1200 respectively. TKDSL confirm that this application was submitted on 11th April 2011.

TKDSL currently still make up one of the two parts of taekwondoscotland, the official governing body for taekwondo in Scotland.

We have been advised by sportscotland that due process in the assessment of our and the BTCB (Scotland)’s application is currently being followed.

TKDSL consider the BTCB (Scotland) to be nothing more than an administrative body of the BTCB as they hold zero members in Scotland. We have secured political support from members of the Scottish Parliament and they have voiced their opinion by writing to sportscotland backing our Sports Governing Body application.

We will update all members of TKDSL and all interested parties through this website as the process unfolds over the coming weeks.
